Our Leadership & Staff

Our church is an elder-led church.  We view all pastors as elders and elders as pastors.  Some labor in different fields.  Some labor in preaching and teaching.  All elders have the same authority and responsibility before God.

Chis Flores, Lead Pastor

Chris and Rachel have been married since 2008 and have three children. They both feel called to the mission field--a call that has been confirmed by short term mission trips. They are both graduates of Crown College.  Chris is licensed and working on being ordained with the Christian & Missionary Alliance.  He has a strong calling and desire to tell people about Jesus, and evangelize those in the surrounding communities who do not know Him as their Lord and Savior. Using the gifts God has instilled in them as a couple and as a family they are striving to fulfill the great commission here, and in the future abroad.

Christian Lake, Pastor for Worship

Christian was born in Bradenton, FL and later lived in West Virginia.  He became a Christian at 17 when God saved him from a life of immorality, depression, and rebellion.  Though he grew up in a Christian home, and knew the truth, he was living in darkness and hopelessness.  He sees God's redemption of his life as a true testimony of God's sovereign design and effectual calling.

He received a BS in Religion from Liberty University.  There he studied biblical studies, Greek, Hebrew, and youth ministry.  He has done further studies in Project Management from Kent State University.  He is currently the Project and Production Manager in the restoration field.

He has married to his wife, Jennifer, for 14 years.  They have 3 kids with a fourth soon to arrive.  His favorite passage is Ephesians 2.12-16, “Remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility” (ESV).

Krista Puhl, Pastoral Assistant

Krista is originally from San Diego, Ca.  She was raised in a Christian home, but truly trusted in Jesus while she was a teenager.  She and Marc have been married for over 23 years.  They have 5 kids ranging from 28-14.  The Lord brought her and her family to New Prague Alliance church over five years ago.  She has served the church as a pastoral assistant since January 2014.

Marc Puhl, Pastor for Shepherding

Marc was born in California, raised in parts of Missouri and Minnesota, but calls Cannon Falls home.

After being raised as a baptized, communing, and confirmed Catholic, Marc became a Christian in December 1991.  He saved in the living room of an elder from a charismatic church.  A meteorologist by education, Marc served 14 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy and 3 years on the Texas Army National Guard.  He has worked as a retail executive level manger for the past 21 years.  He and Krista have been married for 23 years and have 5 kids.  His favorite verse is Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (ESV).
